AQS Access is a policy administration system with complete rate-quote, underwriting, and policy-management capabilities for all property/casualty lines – including self-service options for product configuration.  Browser-based Access integrates ISO Rating Service® and packages ISO's loss costs, rules, and policy-forms information, with all the information interpreted by ISO – plus full Workers Compensation capabilities.  The ISO materials can be modified with company underwriting rules and standards for complete flexibility.

The system lets business analysts build company-specific programs.  It provides real-time quoting and policy servicing, rules-based underwriting, and automated rate management.  It supports specialty and independent programs, programs from any advisory organization, and programs in non-ISO lines of business.  And it speeds the delivery of products to market, expedites regulatory filings, and implements rate changes without delay.

 

Designer Access

Designer Access is a browser-based, self-documenting toolset that provides self-control and collaboration for product development, configuration, and deployment for any state – inlcuding product development, consistent rating standards, and necessary rate changes – in a non-programming environment.  It enables analysts to design products and build rating structures.  It simplifies rate-quote, underwriting and policy administration processes, automates rate maintenance tasks, and consolidates implementation of ongoing rate changes.  And its rating database stores all rating and policy system requirements, company deviations and specialized rating provisions.

Its patented inheritance model manages rating templates, table structures, rules, calculations and edits – at countrywide and state levels – for ISO rating and other advisory bureaus.  It enables the configuration of company-specific deviations and rules.  It allows the control and integration of key aspects of risk selection and policy rating across all lines.  Then it generates easy-to-use web pages as the interface for calculating quotes or policy premiums.  It also enables product managers to create or customize underwriting guidelines, with the flexibility to apply premium and product modifications.  And it supports non-standard lines of business, storing system requirements as Ratebooks in the Designer Access Domain Management System, using your company’s “Domain Warehouse” specifications.

Quote Access

Quote Access is a web-based user interface that lets you create, modify, and compare premium quotes for new business, mid-term changes, and renewals.  As the marketing and distribution front-end of AQS Access, Quote Access interacts with ISO Rating Service® — the automated rating and underwriting system from ISO.  So, your quotes conform to the ISO programs in every state.  Quote Access also produces quotes for specialty and independent programs, programs from any advisory organization, and programs in non-ISO lines of business.

With responsive performance, intuitive navigation, and logical data entry, Quote Access reduces user error and redundancies.  You can customize the quoting interface with your own company's business rules and risk-assessment guidelines.  And you can automatically route quotes to your sales force, then transfer accepted quotes into policies — all without re-keying data.

Policy Access

Policy Access enables users of AQS Access to process any transaction using only a browser, providing real-time contract administration for any P&C line of business.  Policy Access processes all of the key transactions in the policy life cycle, providing workflow and data security, while enabling staff members to collaborate on accounts.  In addition, Policy Access lets you:
